Just wondering how viable the latest Change Set is towards a new release, and whether it fixes many of the issues currently in 2.0.26?

All source builds should be classed as unstable. I'm refactoring the source tree to have a "branches/releases/trunk" structure.
"branches" will be for prototyping, "trunk" for active development. When the trunk reaches a stable point, it'll be branched one-time into "releases" as a point of reference.
