Posts appearing twice

description

I've noticed that if I add a post it'll appear twice within the tree i.e.:
-Blog
--2009
----02
------04
------04

Both 04 posts are the same (same id) so I'm not sure where the join is having issues.

Anyone ever find out on this? I have the same problem, and it's driving me insane! ;-)

I seem to remember that an updated version of 6 had some impact on the tree, a few months ago so try the latest version. I've since stopped using Umbraco but may pick it up again in the future

I am also experiencing the same problem. I have created a document import tool which creates year and month folders which I’ve tried running several times. The issue seems to be intermittent; sometimes it works perfectly other times I get duplicate year and/or month folder entries. The weird thing is that the links in the tree open up the same database document (they point to the same document ID).

Has anybody found a solution to this problem? I was relying on Document.MakeNew() working without problems in order to import my client’s old website data into their new Umbraco site.

Hi guys, we believe this is an issue with Umbraco itself rather than Blog4Umbraco as B4U does not directly edit the content tree tables, only uses the native Umbraco APIs. I'm closing this issue as it's not something under our control.
